Welcome to the Parish of St. Mary’s of Washington, DC! 


Are you seeking God or trying to discover what you were made for? All of us are on that journey, and we can take comfort in the truth that as hard as we might be trying to find God, he has been loving and seeking us first. He wants to make us happy, happy in ways that only God can. 


God makes the first move. He has been seeking us out, and we respond by giving our lives to him. As we give ourselves to God, he can change our hearts, families, work, and lives. 


So, whether you have been a Catholic for many years, or are looking for the first time, welcome. We rejoice in the love that God has for us, and we seek to love him in return.


 No one is ever denied the Sacraments at St. Mary’s.
