About Us

Our mission

The National Catholic Church of North America

The National Catholic Church of North America

In short, live and share the Love of God.

We believe that God loved the world so much that God sent Jesus among us, and that Jesus did not come to condemn, but that we could be united with God in an unbreakable bond of love.

Our core message is based on the amazing reality of God's forgiveness. That who we are is more important to God than anything we have done or said, or ever done or said. God's forgiveness completely and unconditionally, and that's what we proclaim and celebrate!

Our Sunday celebrations follow the tradition of the Catholic Mass: we sing hymns of praise, we listen to readings of the Word of God from the Scriptures, and we celebrate the Eucharistic feast.  The Word becomes Flesh!

Our communion table is open to all, because we believe that the Eucharist is not a reward for being good, but what we need to improve. None of us is worthy to come to this table, but in the Love of God everyone is invited, regardless of our vision of ourselves.

This is God's love table, and you have a seat at this table.

Our beliefs

The National Catholic Church of North America

Our beliefs

  • God is love, and in love God created the world and everything that God created (including us) is good.
  • God sent Jesus as one of us so that the relationship between God and humanity could be restored.
  • Jesus freely gave his life for us for the forgiveness of our sins.
  • That Jesus rose from the dead and has promised us eternal life.
  • That God has sent the Spirit among us so that we can live as children of God.
  • That through the Church God has given us the sacraments as ways to obtain and celebrate the grace of God in our lives.
  • That these sacraments of God's grace are open to all, regardless of gender, identity, or gender orientation.
  • That everyone is called to live in the love of God and the community.
